COME JOIN ME is a short film illustrated and directed by Marylou Faure (FR) and animated by Lobster. It was created as part of the solo exhibition of Marylou at L44 Space in Sofia - "Come Join Me" in September 2024.

The theme of escapism in this exhibition feels especially relevant in today’s fast-paced and often overwhelming world. Marylou Faure taps into our shared desire to retreat into a world of imagination, giving viewers a chance to momentarily forget their worries and reconnect with their playful, carefree side. For her, creating this world is both a personal escape and an artistic journey—an opportunity to offer viewers a brief, magical pause in their day.
